Dove and Glee

Today I saw the most brilliant Dove ad on hulu during Glee. It was Rachel but the real actress, Lea Michele, in her dressing room. The hairstylists are talking about her hair shampoo and its benefits. She then leaves the room to go on stage, hums a quick couple of notes from “Favorite Things” then the commercial directs the viewer to the website.

Brilliant. Not only is the commercial found online, where someone can pause the show to watch, but a person can also check it out afterwards. Fans of Glee love her voice and will go and watch the commercial. It is a brilliant move for Dove.

There is also games people can play by entering their e-mail addresses. I like it.
